Frontier Education Foundation, Govt. of KPK has offered 12 scholarhips (6 x Undergraduate and 6 x Masters) students enrolled in Spring/Fall 2019 at NUST. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of merit cum-affordability.
Students having KP domicile (Settled areas only within Pakistan) only
Students having monthly family income (gross) from all resources less than or equal to Rs. 50,000/-
2019 Entry (Fall / Spring) UG & MS students are eligible to apply including those who have already applied / awarded NUST need based scholarship at the time of admission.
A student in receipt of any other scholarship will not be eligible to avail this scholarship unless he/she waves off his/her claim for the other scholarship.
HOW TO APPLY
Students will submit application forms in their institutions. To download form please click here
Institutions will forward forms to Financial Aid Office, Main Office NUST latest by 13th Dec 2019.
Attested Photocopies of :
C.N.I.C of Parent(s) / Guardian. Death certificate duly verified from NADRA in respect of deceased parent(s)
DMC/Transcript (Last Examination)
Salaried persons are required to submit copy of the latest salary slip issued by employer and duly attested by Govt. officer, BPS 17 or above
Non-salaried persons, are required to submit income certificate countersigned by Deputy Commissioner (DC) or District Revenue Officer (DRO)
Committee recommendations will be forwarded to FEF for approval
Upon approval, institutions / students will be informed vide Scholarship Award Letter
Shortlisted students will be interviewed by Institutional Scholarship Award Committee at Main Office. Institutions will ensure presence of their students for the interview. Financial Aid Office will forward schedule & Venue to institutions shortly.
NUST carries the discretion to physically verify facts stated by the candidate while applying for financial aid at any point of time during the academic life cycle at NUST. It may include a visit to house/ business premises or inquiry from the surrounding neighbors.
Providing false information may lead to imposition of penalty, cancellation of admission as per policy in vogue
Incomplete forms & forms recieved after due date will not be entertained
CONTINUATION OF SCHOLARSHIP
Continuation of scholarship is subject to:
Good Conduct of the student
Provision of progress reports to FAO after each semester. Students are responsible for timely provision of updated transcripts to the FAO on six monthly basis
