Research Interests:

Colloidal stabilization of nanoparticles of different shapes in solution is a key issue. Amphiphilic polymer wrapped around the nanoparticles not only renders them water soluble but also provides a platform for binding of active molecules. Such hybrid nanostructures can then be used as reporter molecules inside cellular machinery. Other applications of hybrid nanoparticles involve solar cell, chemical sensors, tissue engineering etc.
