Dr. Sajid has joined USPCASE, NUST in September 2016. Previously, he was Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at GIK Institute, Topi.  He has more than five years of industrial and academic experience. 

He has completed his PhD from Clean Combustion Research Center (CCRC) at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST) KSA. During his PhD, he worked on several industrial research projects and contributed in establishing Chemical Kinetics and Laser Sensors Lab at KAUST.  He was first PhD graduate of this lab and second PhD graduate from CCRC. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as Manager (Tech)/ Assistant Manager (Tech) in MTC (NESCOM), Islamabad where he was involved in various R & D projects of national importance. Moreover, after completing his BSc (Hons) degree, he worked as Lab Engineer in GIK Institute for nearly one year. 

Presently, he is involved in teaching of graduate courses of Thermal Energy Engineering and is supervising MS thesis students.
