Dr. Naveed started working at USPCASE, NUST as Asst. Professor in August 2019. He has more than five years of professional experience of working on a number of renewable energy projects (Solar thermal, Solar PV, Energy Audits). 
He has completed his PhD from School of Energy & Power Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University China. During his PhD, he worked on funded projects of new thermal storage techniques for medium to high temperature industrial applications. Based on his doctoral research work he was selected as outstanding PhD scholar by Chinese Scholarship Council (CSC) and his PhD thesis was nominated for Shaanxi Innovation Exhibition. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as Manager (Tech), Project Officer (solar thermal) and Design Engineer in different organizations. Where mostly he was involved in different renewable projects in collaboration with different industries and attended various training courses on renewable energy systems. He has also worked as Energy Consultant for different organizations.

Presently, he is involved in teaching of graduate courses of Thermal Energy Engineering and is supervising MS thesis students.
