Dr. Naseem Iqbal works as Associate Professor and Head of Department Energy System Engineering at the USPCAS-E, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). Dr. Iqbal did his PhD in Chemistry from Institute of Applied Synthetic Chemistry, Vienna University of Technology, Austria.   Dr. Naseem Iqbal worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow for three years at Department of Chemistry, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) Norway.  He worked at Arizona State University USA as an Exchange Faculty Member with Prof Kannan in Fuel Cell and Batteries Lab.

Dr. Naseem Iqbal area of expertise includes heterogeneous nanocatalysis for energy applications, batteries, fuel cell, supercapacitors, carbon capture and utilization. He has authored and co-authored more than 60 refereed journal and conference publications, and given international and national talks in the area of catalysis. He also serves as a reviewer for various international scientific journals. Dr Iqbal has also worked as Program Coordinator and DLQEC, at USPCAS-E.
