Dr. Mian Ilyas Ahmad is working in collaboration with Dr. Martin Van Gijzen, associate professor in Technical University Delft, Netherland and Dr. Daniel B. Szyld, professor in Temple University, USA on the efficient implementation of conjugate gradient methods. Recently in June 2012 the team has published a paper available online as Temple University report.

Dr. Mian is also working with Dr. Imad Jaimoukha, senior lecturer in Imperial College London, UK and Dr. MichalisFrangos, Research Scientist at Schlumberger Cambridge Research Center, UK

  • Boundary value problems in Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid mechanics
  • Peristaltic motion of fluids in general and biological fluid in particular
  • Mathematical models of physical phenomena
  • Nonlinear differential equations
  • Numerical analysis of nonlinear differential equations
  •  

    The team has published a number of papers in the above areas.
