PhD in Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Israr Ud Din is currently Assistant Professor at RCMS, NUST, Pakistan. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from UET Peshawar, in 2006, and MS in Mechanical Engineering from PIEAS, Islamabad in 2008. Then, he was involved in aerospace industry for seven years in project management and aero-structures design and analysis particularly impact and crashworthiness assessment. After having industrial experience, he commenced his PhD in the area of modeling the composite materials behavior employing coupled continuum damage mechanics (CDM) and plasticity approaches at LTI-Laboratoire des technologies innovantes, Université de Picardie Jules Verne, France. He has successfully completed his PhD in 2018 and published his results in prestigious journals dedicated for the research in composites. He has active collaborations with the national and international universities investigating the performance of composites particularly in aerospace sector.
