Dr Qasim Ali is serving as an Associate Professor at Department of Avionics Engineering, CAE, NUST. He completed his BE (Avionics Engineering) from CAE, NUST in 1999. He holds a Master degree in Control Systems from Air University Islamabad and a PhD degree in Control and Navigation of Aerial Vehicles from University of Würzburg, Germany. His work experience of nine years includes maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications and upgrade of electronics, avionics, electrical and communication systems. He also worked as a Documentation Engineer for two years for development of technical publications covering the domains of maintenance, troubleshooting, engineering drawings and signal flow charts of radar systems.
He secured Higher Education Commission (HEC) Scholarship for PhD studies in Germany. He is a recipient of Gold Medal for his MS (Control Systems) at Institute of Avionics and Aeronautics (IAA), Air University, Islamabad. He has done German language course of level A2 Plus from Carl Duisberg Centrum (CDC), Germany.
