Biomedical Signal Processing

​Dr. Ahsan Shahzad received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), Gwangju, South Korea, with distinction in 2019. He did his M.Sc. degree in Electronics engineering from the same institute (GIST, South Korea), in 2014. He got the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering with honors from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, Pakistan in 2009. He is the recipient of several accolades throughout his career such as Excellent Ph.D. Thesis Award, Fully Funded Korean Government Scholarship for M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, Global University Project Scholarship twice, Best Paper Awards etc. Dr. Ahsan is the member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), International Society to Advance Alzheimer's Research and Treatment (ISTAART), and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). He is also serving as a reviewer for multiple impact factor journals of IEEE, i.e. IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Sensors Journal etc.  He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer and Software Engineering, CEME, NUST. His research interests includes Health Informatics, m-health systems, Signal and Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare.
