​Dr. Azhar ulhaq has been working as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad since Nov 2016. He holds Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering obtained under the joint Research Doctoral Program of University of L'Aquila, Italy and University of Waterloo, Canada in 2016. His research interests include grid integration of solar photovoltaic systems electric vehicles’ smart charging; and direct load control for peak shaving in power system. He worked as a postdoc with UNB, Canada from Mar 2016 to Oct 2016. He also worked as a Research Assistant with ECE Department of University of Waterloo, Canada. He has published his research work in many journals, conferences and books. He is recipient of Best Paper Award in IEEE SGRE 2015.
