Atif Qayyum is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan. From 2015 to 2016, he was a visiting Ph.D. student with the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy. He has completed the M.S. degree in control science and engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China, in 2010. He was a recipient of the Best Foreign Student Award in 2007.
