College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering  (CEME)
Saba Kalsoom of DE 38 (Electrical Engineering) is selected as the Google Developer Student Club Lead for NUST CEME
Saba Kalsoom, a student of Electrical Engineering (Batch 2016) at CEME NUST has been selected as the Google Developer Student Club Lead from NUST CEME campus.
Developer Student Clubs (DSC) are community groups, affiliated with Google Developers, for university students from any academic background in their undergraduate or graduate term. By joining a DSC, students build their professional and personal network, get access to Google developer resources, and work together to build solutions for local problems in a peer-to-peer learning environment. In 2019, for the first time, over the course of a three-day summit, Google took the initiative to create Developer Student Clubs in Pakistan, and forty two such club leads were selected, each from a different university of Pakistan.
"While exploring the diversity of this universe, I experienced the exhilaration of the ups and the despairs of the downs. In between these, I learned that courage can create an impact and for that, you don't have to wait till you've been awarded degrees. I am humbled to lead the first Developer Student Community in Pakistan and promote learning and growth with technology in the best community a student can have. I am certain that the students of CEME are truly excited in witnessing the inception of DSC CEME!" says Saba Kalsoom.
We are thrilled that our student has been selected for Google Developers programme, and we are looking forward to seeing it excel in future!
