Dr. Danish Hussain did his bachelor’s in Electronics Engineering from Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, in 2010. After graduation, he served in Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd for two years as a core network engineer. During this period, he was actively engaged in many telecommunication projects across Pakistan. In 2012, he received MS leading PhD scholarship from Higher Education of Pakistan. He is a member of IEEE.

Dr Danish Hussain has served as a research associate in the group of Professor Xie Hui in the state key laboratory of robotics and systems, Harbin institute of Technology. Where he assisted Professor Xie Hui to formulate several courses in Robotics.

Research Experience

•    Fabrication and characterization of nano tips and quartz tuning fork force sensors for AFM

•    Critical dimension metrology with AFM

•    Development and implementation of tuning fork based AFM and kelvin probe force microscopy

•    Development of 3D AFM

•    Bio characterization with AFM

•    Simulation of the AFM hardware components for its dynamical and mechanical characterization

  • Micro/nano Robotics and micro/nano manipulation

  • Micro and  nano metrology of microelectronic devices

  • Bio-mimicry of molecular structures and processes for design of intelligent Micro/Nano Robots

​Dr. Danish Hussain has worked in Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd as a core network engineer form August 2010 to August 2012. During this tenure, he has worked on several projects e.g. NTC core network, Ufone Phase-9 expansion and NLC core network project. During his last 6 months at Huawei, he was responsible to manage the NLC NMS.
