History
After the partition of Indian Sub Continent, School of Military Engineering (SME) was established at Sialkot, Pakistan in April1948. Organization comprised Field Engineering Wing, Civil Engineering Wing, Combat Wing and Administration Wing.

In 1952, SME shifted from Sialkot to Risalpur and developed into full-fledged engineering institution. It was also renamed as Military College of Engineering (MCE).

Since 1948, MCE has immensely grown and has continued to enhance potential of Corps of Engineers in support of field army and nation building.

MCE runs 45 courses with an average intake of 2000 students annually. It has produced 2885 Bachelor and 145 Master graduates of Civil Engineering so far. Out of these, 108 Masters and 25 doctors have obtained higher qualifications from renowned universities of the world including Massachusetts, Stanford, Berkley, Urbana, Michigan and Purdue universities of USA.MCE OLD 4.jpg
