Fracture Characterization of Thin Bonded Asphalt Concrete Overlay Systems

RESEARCH INTERESTS/EXPERIENCE 

Planning, construction, instrumentation and testing of an accelerated pavement test project at ATREL, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  This study evaluated design of STRATA RCRS (Reflective Cracking Relief System) system.

Developed procedure for fracture characterization of thin bonded and graded asphalt concrete overlay systems.

Developed bituminous composite specimens fabrication procedure by means of gyratory shear compactor

Advanced characterization of pavement materials, Recycled and warm mix asphalt mixtures characterization

Pavement design, rehabilitation, renewability and sustainability
