Our graduate studies in CEM consider the dual
technical and managerial responsibilities of the constructor. Construction
engineering courses deal with specialized technical areas such as construction
planning, scheduling, simulation, and the utilization of construction equipment.
Construction management courses emphasize the management of the total
construction process, which begins with the initial planning for a new facility
and ends when the completed facility has been delivered to its new owner. A

Eligibility / Admission Criteria
In addition to the eligibility criteria as prescribed by NUST
for its other MS programs , a candidate must possess a Bachelors degree in
Civil / Architectural/ Construction or equivalent Engineering degree from a
PEC/HEC/PCATP recognized institution of Pakistan or abroad.
Provide a sound base in mathematics; engineering sciences; business; and the fundamental paradigms, concepts, understandings, applications, and knowledge of civil and construction engineering.
Develop students’ abilities to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate information; solve engineering problems; so as to be prepared to effectively perform management tasks for effective execution of construction projects.
To continually work with industry to enhance the program’s effectiveness while creating opportunities in the construction industry.
Provide students with knowledge of contemporary societal issues and sensitivity to the challenge of meeting social, environmental, and economic constraints within a global community.
Develop international linkages with reputed foreign universities and research organizations in order to carry out collaborative research projects; thereby giving the students an opportunity to get international exposure.
