  • Designed a mobile Adhoc network solution incorporating Tsunami bridges and Harris Radios for mobile troops during operations.

  • ​​Involved in designing, development and Implementation of Routers based Wide Area real time network with multiple E1 back bone for operational system for defence in collaboration with Chinese Experts.
  • Established multiple LANs with more than 70 nodes.

  • ​Implemented and Configured standard and extended Access list on routers for security. Configured routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, RIP & BGP).

  • Detailed study for Interfacing RPV lives video with Operation Command and Control System. Studied establishment of a RPV control center for transceiving data from Computer Networks.

  • MIMO and Cooperative MIMO Test Bed (ICT R&D project) 2007

  • ​Planned, designed and developing MIMO (Multi-Input-Multi-Output) and Cooperative MIMO systems test-bed through ICT R& D Funded project worth Rs 15 M at Iqra University, Islamabad
  • Planned, designed, and developed as Principal Instigator (PI) an Advanced Wireless Systems test- bed Platform for practical implementation of MIMO-OFDM based SDR Systems. NUST HQ (Rs .386 M) funded project being implemented at MCS, NUST

  • Satellite Communications Systems Lab establishment at NUST 2008

  • Designed and Commissioned Satellite Communication Sys lab comprising of two earth stations (linked in C-Band) and test equipment such as 30-GHz Spectrum Analyzer and Signal Analyzer. The lab is configured to carryout state of art R&D in Satellite
  • ​This is first such facility in a Pakistani University for practical training. The Officers also visited University of Surrey, UK, Centre for Communication System Research (CCSR) for transfer of tech in this regard.
  • SUPARCO Student Satellite Project.
  • ​Designed a TubeSat based Pico-Sat project to initiate indigenous dev of expertise in Satellite Technology. Developed Proposal in consultation with Institution of Space Technology (IST) for funding from HEC.
  • Involved as PI in the student Satellite development project in consultation with SUPARCO.
