Dr Muhammad Asif joined PNEC in 2014 and started his professional career in academics. He completed his MSc in Mechanical Engineering from GCU, UK with distinction in 2013, he also has one-year industrial experience where he worked as Trainee Mechanical Engineer. 

During his stay at PNEC he taught at undergraduate Mechanical and Electrical Engineering level, he also preformed admin duties which includ:

-  Project Coordinator (UG Program)

-  Course Officer

-  OIC Labs

-  Member Student Disciplinary Committee

In 2016 he was selected under NUST Faculty Development program for PhD, he completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in mechanical characterization and modelling of 3D printed nanocomposites form Auckland University of Technology and University of Auckland in 2019. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department in PNEC – NUST.​
