Digital Marketing Seminiar

Mr. Adnan Shahid, Chief Commercial Officer at PTCL, delivered a Talk on Digital Marketing – Pakistan’s New Corporate Facelift, organized by the CIL office at NUST Business School on March 17th 2017. Participants of the seminar were students MBA and BBA classes. Mr. Adnan started his lecture on a very lighter note with his introduction.

Being in the industry for more than a decade, Mr. Adnan delivered and informative session on how the Marketing industry has changed and how digitization has made an impact on the whole process of marketing, promotion, sales, customer services and Digital Product Development.

He discussed how the theory of 4ps, Product, Price Place and Promotion have been redesigned and products today are becoming digital and user-friendly. It has become difficult to attract and hold customers because of wide spread knowledge and grown competition. He said that the audiences are targeted today through digital media canvas which includes emails, social media, blogs, and SMS marketing. Targeting audience and product promotion is done through the association of the product with the entertainment content such as dramas, movies sports etc. After the talk there was a question answer session with the students.  The session concluded with HOD International Business and Marketing presenting the shield as a token of appreciation to Mr. Adnan Shahid.

Later Mr. Adnan Shahid had meeting with Principal and Dean NUST Business School.
