Profile Dr. Madiha Gohar has
almost 12 years of experience as an academician. She earned her doctoral degree
from Essex Business School, University of Essex UK (top ranked University in
the United Kingdom). Since August 2018, she is serving in NUST Business School;
prior to that she served Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University (SBBWU), Peshawar as
Assistant Professor. In her tenure in SBBWU, she taught various subjects of
Economics and Management Sciences. Dr. Madiha has taught in the University of
Essex as well and has worked as assistant to the research coordinator in a
project of Creative Women run by Essex Business School. Dr. Madiha is a
skillful trainer and has conducted several seminars on Qualitative Research
Methods and Entrepreneurship in different universities of KP. She has organised
2 international conferences, and several training sessions, seminars and
workshops in the area of her expertise.
Research Dr.
Madiha has a special attachment to research areas of Entrepreneurship,
particularly to women entrepreneurship, institutional theory, entrepreneurial
intension and household entrepreneurship. Her PhD thesis explored the role
household institution in shaping the entrepreneurial intension of women in the
