Mr. Kashir Asghar's experience lies in the fields of Post Modern Marketing and Place Branding. He has conducted extensive research on Pakistan from a post-modernist and place marketing perspective. He also delivers lecture on these topics. He has taught and continues to teach several Marketing courses including Services Marketing, Branding and Communication, Marketing Research, Principles and Practices of Marketing, Marketing Strategy, Advertisement & Promotion and Case Studies in Marketing. His research and consultancy focus on the marketing/ branding of cities and the marketing of heritage destinations, including market research and strategy formulation for branding cities. His research interests include all forms of branding, tourism development and the application of marketing in developing a strategic competitive advantage from a place branding perspective.
