Ph.D in Politics and International Relations

Najimdeen Bakare has more than a decade of teaching and research experience in tertiary institutions and has carefully developed interest in the EU Politics, global politics, African politics, issues of European Muslims, regionalism, developmental studies, theories of IR, Islamic peace studies, minority issues, and (Islamic and Western) Philosophy.  

Both teaching and research experience accords me the ability to engage the scholarly community in meaningful discourse. Over the years, I have effectively integrated my research output(s) into the classroom experience. Besides teaching, I have been supervising research projects at the graduate level, on host of issues, which include, but not limited to religious and political radicalization, structural conflict and EU politics, dynamics of politics in Africa, post-conflict rehabilitation and conflict of governance.
