Accessible Cycle Design Challenge

The students of 3rd Year Industrial Design, School of Art Design and Architecture (SADA), are participating in the national competition named “Accessible Cycle Design Challenge”(ACDC) being held by Network of Organizations With People with Disabilities Pakistan (NOWPDP).

NOWPDP is a non-profit organization that promotes the creation of an inclusive society and values and upholds the rights of people with disabilities.

The students of industrial design are working on multiple design proposals to send in for the competition from SADA. All the design proposals aim to cater to the user’s comfort, safety, and low cost factor whilst incorporating unique aesthetics into the design. The studio activities include not only working on design aesthetics but also evolving the design on a technical level as well. The students aim to build complete prototypes of their proposed designs.
