Dr. Badee Alshameri has a vast academic and employment backgrounds from being a head of department, lecturer, geotechnical and geophysical engineer, consultant, trainer, engineering geologist, teacher, field hydrogeologist in both public and private sectors. He combined the experience from the master study (geotechnics), bachelor’s study (earth science), and the work backgrounds to come up with PhD thesis titled “Combining Seismic and Geotechnical Methods to Improve the Prediction of Physical Soil Properties”. He done his PhD in civil engineering (geotechnical engineering), 2017, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Malaysia; master in geotechnical engineering, 2011, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia and bachelor’s degree in earth science, 1999, Sana’a University, Yemen.
