Dr. Amer Kashif is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from UET, Lahore and Masters in Electrical Engineering from UET, Peshawar. He did his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from University of Canterbury, New Zealand (NZ). His diverse academic background also includes various Technology Optimization Courses in ICT, eSecurity, Advanced Logistics and Engineering Management from Military College of Signals and College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, National University of Science and Technology (NUST).

He has a vast experience of working in Corps of Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (EME) and Airport Security Force (ASF). He has been teaching engineering graduates and supervising research of interdisciplinary teams at various universities (Inland & Abroad). Dr Amer has remained involved in clinical audits of various Combined Military Hospitals (CMHs), Armed Forces Institutes (AFIs), and National Health Institutes (NIHs). He has developed repair, maintenance and calibration infrastructure for Biomedical Equipment held by Pakistan Army.

He has designed and implemented 4-tier eSecurity system at Parliament House, Islamabad and Alama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. In recognition to his meritorious services, Government of Pakistan awarded him Tamgha-i-Imtiaz in 2015.

Dr Amer Kashif is a member of Institute of Research Engineers & Doctors (USA), Institute of Engineers of Pakistan (IEP), Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (IEEE) and Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
