A group of about 200 students along with their faculty members from 7 different universities of Balochistan led by Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS visited NUST as part of the Youth Mobilization Program under the patronage of HEC and Southern Command of the Pakistan Army on April 25, 2017. Program invites students from distant and impoverished regions to visit NUST to broaden their horizons and be given a glimpse of the opportunities that await them here in the country’s capital.
The guests were received by A/Dir Publishing and Student Affairs, AD SA and faculty sponsor NUST Community Service Club (NCSC) at the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME) Seminar Hall, where the opening ceremony was held. Presentations detailing the highlights and accomplishments of NUST and NCSC were given by Assistant Director Student Affairs, and Assistant Manager NCSC, Maheen Mumtaz. This was followed by question answer session. After the opening ceremony a campus tour of NUST was given during which the visiting students were shown classes, labs and other facilities of the campus. A group photo was taken at Convocation Ground, followed by lunch served at Jinnah Auditorium. The event ended on a high note with a souvenir presentation by Pro-Rector Academics NUST, Dr. Asif Raza to the accompanying Vice-Chancellor of BUET Brig (R) Dr Muhammad Amin.
