The Career and Education Operating Council of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) has approved NUST’s petition to become an AIChE Student Chapter.
The Council settled that NUST had met all the criteria for a student chapter status, and has officially welcomed NUST into the AIChE family. Student chapters enjoy many of the same benefits of membership available to professional members, such as participation in regional and national conferences, AIChE publications such as Chemical Engineering Progress, eligibility for scholarships and others.
See NUST’s membership status here.
The Material Advantage Student Program provides its members access to the materials science and engineering professional's most preeminent societies, such as the American Ceramic Society (ACerS), Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST), ASM International- the Materials Information Society, and the Minerals, Metals and Materials Society (TMS).
The material Advantage Student Chapter at NUST will allow students access to society newsletters, study guides, electronic access to archival journals, and eligibility for contests, scholarships and awards, etc.
