We are immensely proud to announce that NUST, for the first
time, has won the RISE (Research Innovation & Staff Exchange) grant which
is a part of the highly competitive and prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie
Actions (MSCA) programme.
Only 2 projects from Pakistan have been accepted into the
MCSA RISE Consortium 2020, both by NUST researchers. These include "Nano
Informatics Approaches for Safe-by-Design Nano Materials" a project by Dr
Muhammad Moazam Fraz and Dr Muhammad Shahzad from SEECS.
The second project is "Alternative Quality and
Authenticity Methods for Sugar and Confectionery Industry” by Dr Hasnain A
Janjua and Dr Muhammad Qasim Hayat from #ASAB.
This is a significant achievement and will provide our
researchers opportunities to work with renowned international partners in an
exceedingly diverse and competitive environment. RISE also involves of Small
& Medium Enterprises #SMEs and educational institutions from across Europe,
bringing more prospects for R&D collaboration and innovation.
