A delegation comprising of thirteen esteemed deputies, headed by his Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Perlis, Brigadier General Tuanku Syed Faizuddin, from the Reserve Officers Training Unit (ROTU), Malaysian Public Universities, visited the Centre for International Peace & Stability (CIPS), NUST, on February 21, 2020.
Upon arrival, the delegation was briefed comprehensively about various departments at NUST with special attention to the details pertaining to the Department of Peacekeeping Training at CIPS. The briefing session was followed by an interactive session resulting in a prolonged discussion aimed at identifying areas with the potential of cinching a successful Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the esteemed delegation.
Brigadier General Tuanku Syed Faizuddin expressed his most profound appreciation for the incredible courses being taught at the University. He said that given the diversity in the inter-disciplinary courses available at NUST, there is indeed immense scope for Malaysia and Pakistan to come together in pursuit of upholding avenues for distinctive scholastic collaborations in order to ensure a promising future for the youth in both the countries. The delegation expressed their gratitude for facilitating their visit to NUST.
