NUST IMPROVES ITS QS ASIAN RANKING 2016 

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has improved its overall position by seven places amongst the Asian Universities Rankings announced by Quacquarelli Symo​nds (QS), UK. NUST has b​een now ranked at 112 in Asia. The rankings are carried out on the basis of academic reputation, employer’s reputation, faculty / student ratio, citation per paper, paper per faculty, staff with PhD and internationalization measures taken by the university.

NUST IMPROVES ITS QS Asian Ranking 2015 

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has improved its overall position by ten places amongst the Asian Universities according to the ranking announced by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), UK on 10 June, 2015. NUST has been now ranked at 119 in Asia. In the subject of Engineering & Technology, however, NUST has been positioned at No 1 in Pakistan and 73rd in Asia. The overall and subject-wise rankings are carried out on the basis of teaching quality, perception of international academic peers, quality of university graduates as per their employer’s view and internationalization measures taken by the university. Rector NUST has lauded the efforts put in by the management, faculty and students of NUST Institutions to bring this honour to NUST. He has urged upon them to work even harder to take the flag of NUST to the further heights in the international academia.

NUST AMONG TOP 130 ASIAN UNIVERSITIES RANKING 2014




National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has attained the overall rank of 129 amongst the Asian Universities according to the Asian Universities rankings announced on 12 May, 2014 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), UK.  This ranking is carried out on the basis of teaching quality, perception of international academic peers, quality of university graduates as per their employers and internationalization measures taken by the university. Rector NUST has praised the hard work put in by the management, faculty and students of NUST Institutions to bring this credit to NUST. He has advised them to work even harder to improve the international standing of NUST.
 

NUST Among Top 120 Asian Universities Ranking 2013

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has been included among top 120 Asian Universities according to the recent ranking announced on 11 June, 2013 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), UK. NUST has been placed at 75th position in the subject of Engineering & Technology. In the subjects of Natural Sciences, Life Sciences & Medicine and Social Sciences & Management NUST stands at 138th, 136th and 144th positions, respectively. These rankings are carried out on the basis of teaching quality, perception of international academic peers, quality of university graduates as per their employers and internationalization measures taken by the university. Rector NUST has lauded the efforts put in by the management, faculty and students of NUST Institutions to bring this honour to NUST. He has urged upon them to work even harder to take the flag of NUST to the further heights in the international academia.

 

NUST Among Top 110 Asian Universities Ranking 2012

 
National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has won 108th place in the List of “Top 110 Asian Universities”, and is the only Pakistani university to achieve this unprecedented honour as per the ranking carried out by the world’s most renowned and prestigious ranking agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), UK. In subject-wise Rankings, NUST has been placed in the list of “Top 100 Asian Universities”. In the subjects of Natural Sciences and Life Sciences and Medicine, NUST is placed at 82nd and 87th positions, respectively. It speaks volumes of the hard work put in by the NUST management and faculty in terms of improving infrastructure, providing quality education, conducting innovative research, establishing international linkages, engaging in collaborative research with leading international institutions/organizations, participating in international exchange programs and producing graduates who are welcomed by national/international industry, academia and corporate sector. Rector NUST, Engr Muhammad Asghar, has felicitated the administration and faculty of all NUST constituent institutions for their relentless efforts to achieve excellence in providing quality education to their students and carrying out research of international standards.​​

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has won its place in the List of “Top 100 Asian Universities”, and is the only Pakistani university to achieve this unprecedented honor as per the ranking carried out by the world’s most renowned and prestigious ranking agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), UK. Keeping up the highest traditions of excellence in providing quality education and research, NUST has attained 84th position in the overall ranking list of 2011. In subject-wise rankings NUST has been placed in the list of “Top 100 Asian Universities” in the subjects of IT & Engineering (Rank: 58), and Natural Sciences (Rank: 73). Moreover, in the subjects of Life Sciences and Medicine, NUST is placed at Rank 102. It is indicative of the efforts made by the NUST management and faculty for improving infrastructure, providing quality education, conducting innovative research, establishing international linkages and producing quality graduates. While NUST management and faculty thank Allah Almighty for bestowing this unique honour, the nation can take enormous pride in their own national university, the NUST.
