NUST RANKED AM​​​ONG TOP 350 WORLD UNIVERSITIES OF ​ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY(Postion 275):2017-18

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad has improved its world ranking in the field of Engineering & Technology by 58 positions from 398th to 340th, while retaining its premier position in the 2015 ranking announced on 15 September, 2015 by M/S Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) of UK, the most prestigious ranking agency of the world. NUST has also been included in Top 120 Asian Universities.  In subject-wise rankings QS ranked NUST Programs of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at 271 and Computer Sciences & Information System at 338 positions in the world. It is worth mentioning that another ranking agency of repute M/S Times Higher Education, UK has also ranked NUST amongst Top 100 universities (at # 95) from BRICS and other Emerging Economies of the world in its 2015 ranking.  Moreover, Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has ranked NUST as No 1 University of Pakistan in its latest ranking announced in May 2015.  Moreover, the NUST’s Research Profile has been gauged more than double and 1.5 times the global percentage in the fields of Engineering & Technology and Natural Sciences, respectively. These achievements are based on the resolute hard work of NUST management and faculty for providing quality education, establishing international linkages, engaging in collaborative and innovative research with leading international universities / organizations, internationalization and producing graduates who are readily accepted by national / international industry, business and academia. Rector NUST, Engr Muhammad Asghar, has congratulated NUST management and faculty for their focused efforts to achieve the honour.  He urged upon all concerned to work even harder to further improve the international stature of NUST among the comity of nations. He has also thanked HEC, MoST and services headquarters for providing consistent support and guidance which enabled NUST to achieve the honour.​

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad has maintained its coveted position in the list of Top 500 world universities in the 2014-15 ranking announced on 16 September, 2014 by M/S Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) of UK, the most prestigious ranking agency of the world. NUST is the only Pakistani university which is consistently included in this ranking list since 2007. Moreover, in the field of Engineering and technology, NUST has been ranked 398th in the world. This is the result of concerted effort put in by the NUST management and faculty for providing quality education, conducting innovative research, establishing international linkages, engaging in collaborative research with leading international universities / organizations, participating in international exchange programs, improving infrastructure, and producing graduates who are welcomed by national / international industry, business, academia and market. Rector NUST, Engr Muhammad Asghar, has felicitated the management and faculty of all NUST constituent Institutions for playing their role effectively. He has also thanked HEC, MoST and services headquarters for providing continued support and guidance which enabled NUST to achieve this honour.

NUST RANKED WORLD UNIVERSITIES OF ​ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (Postion 401+):2014 

 Many Successful universities in the main 2013/14 QS World University Ranking table are more than one hundred years old but hand in hand with the global nature of higher education, National University of Science and Technology (NUST) has won its place in the List of ‘Top 500 World Universities’, and is the only Pakistani university maintaining this honor since 2007. Keeping up the highest traditions of excellence in providing quality education and research, NUST has attained 485th position in the ranking list of 2013/14. This is the result of hard work put in by the NUST management and faculty in terms of improving infrastructure, providing quality education, conducting innovative research, establishing international linkages, engaging in collaborative research with leading international universities / organizations, participating in international exchange programs and producing graduates who are welcomed by national / international industry, business, academia and market. Rector NUST, Engr Muhammad Asghar, has congratulated the NUST administration and faculty of all NUST constituent Institutions for their relentless efforts in providing quality education to their students and carrying out research of international standards.

 

NUST RANKED WORLD UNIVERSITIES OF ​ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY (Postion 324): 2013​ 

National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) has won its place in the List of ‘Top 500 World Universities’, and is the only Pakistani university maintaining this honor since 2007 as per the ranking carried out by the world’s most renowned and prestigious ranking agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), UK. NUST has attained 417th position in the ranking list of 2012-13. Besides overall ranking of the universities, QS also prepares Subject-wise Rankings, wherein NUST has been placed at 324th rank in the discipline of Engineering & Technology. It speaks volumes of the hard work put in by the NUST management and faculty in terms of improving infrastructure, providing quality education, conducting innovative research, establishing international linkages, engaging in collaborative research with leading international universities / organizations, participating in international exchange programs and producing graduates who are welcomed by national / international industry, business, academia and market. While NUST management and faculty bow their heads before Allah Almighty for bestowing this unique honour, the nation can take enormous pride in their own national university, the NUST.  Rector NUST, Engr Muhammad Asghar, has congratulated the NUST administration and faculty of all NUST constituent Colleges / Institutes / Centers for their relentless efforts to achieve excellence in providing quality education to their students and carrying out research of international standards.  He has applauded the recognition of the international competitiveness and compatibility of NUST academic programs at global level. He has assured the nation that NUST will continue making concerted efforts to further improve its standing at the international level to keep the flag of Pakistan flying high in the world academia.
