College of Aeronautical Engineering Risalpur holds Convocation 2021



The Convocation Ceremony of the 11th & 12 MS and 89th & 90th BE Courses of NUST College of Aeronautical Engineering (CAE) was held at PAF Academy Asghar Khan, Risalpur on October 21, 2021.

Lieutenant General Javed Mehmood Bukhari HI (M), (Retd), Rector NUST was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Also present were Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Qaiser Janjua SI (M), Air Officer Commanding, PAF Academy Asghar Khan, Risalpur. Apart from Civil dignitaries, the ceremony was also attended by the senior officials from Pakistan Air Force and other sister services. The Chief Guest conferred MS & BE degrees upon the students of 11th & 12th MS and 89th & 90th BE Courses respectively in the disciplines of Aerospace and Avionics Engineering. Gold / Silver Medals and Merit Certificates were also awarded to the distinction holders.

President’s Gold Medals, for standing first in 12th MS Course of Aerospace and Avionics Engineering, were awarded to Squadron Leader Syed Baleegh Hussain and Squadron Leader Hamza Malik respectively. President’s Gold medals for securing first positions in 89th BE Course of Aerospace and Avionics Engineering were awarded to NUST Scholars Haider Mukhtar Saif Bukhari and Flying Officer Muhammad Kamran Arif respectively. President’s Gold medals for securing first positions in 90th BE Course of Aerospace and Avionics Engineering were awarded to Pilot Officer Muhammad Usman and NUST Scholar Mian Ahmad Mehmood respectively.

Chancellor’s Silver Medals, for securing 2nd positions in 89th BE Course of Aerospace and Avionics Engineering were awarded to Flying Officer Syed M Sohaib Hussain and Flying Officer Wahaj Munir Qazi respectively. Chancellor’s Silver Medals, for securing 2nd positions in 90th EC of Aerospace and Avionics Engineering were awarded to Pilot Officer Muhammad Arqam and Pilot Officer Mian Khizar Shakoor respectively.

Rector’s Gold Medal for Best Project in Aerospace Engineering was awarded to Flying Officer Syed Muhammad Sohaib Hussain and Senior Gentleman Cadet M Hammad Masood from 89th & 90th BE Course respectively. Rector’s Gold Medal for Best Project in Avionics Engineering was awarded to Flying Officer Wahaj Munir Qazi and Pilot Officer Mian Khizar Shakoor from 89th and 90th BE Course respectively.

Merit Certificates for Best Aerospace Vehicle Design were awarded to Flying Officer Syed M Sohaib Hussain and Pilot Officer M Usman from 89th and 90th BE Course respectively. Merit Certificates for Best Avionics System were awarded to Flying Officer M Kamran Arif and Pilot Officer M Saqlain Akbar from 89th and 90th BE Course respectively.

Rector NUST expressed his high expectations from the graduating batches to uphold the glorious traditions of their profession through professionalism, focused commitment, and high moral character.
