Dr Hammad Cheema (Principal SINES) appointed board member PITB
It is indeed a moment of pride for the entire NUST family, as our Principal of the School of Interdisciplinary Engineering & Sciences (SINES) Dr Hammad M. Cheema has been appointed as a board member of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) by the Chief Minister of Punjab.
Dr Hammad has a long affiliation with NUST, having graduated from NUST College of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering (CEME) in Electrical Engineering followed by Masters from Denmark, PhD from Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands and a post-doc from KAUST, KSA.
Joining NUST in 2010, Dr Hammad has a proven track record of academic leadership, excellence in teaching, interdisciplinary research, industrial engagement, licensing and commercialisation.
A well-deserved appointment indeed. We wish him all the very best and may he continue to make NUST proud.
