Licensing Agreement between NUST and WideZone

Innovation & Commercialization (ICON) Department of NUST proudly announces the signing of a Licensing Agreement with WideZone International Pvt. Ltd. The agreement strengthens NUST’s collaboration with WideZone International in developing indigenous dynamometers which have vast applications in Pakistan’s private sector.

A delegation led by Mr Fawad Shahid, Deputy Director Technology at WideZone International Pvt. Ltd., visited NUST and had a productive meeting with Director ICON, NUST College of EME Researchers Prof. Dr Aqib Perwaiz and Prof. Dr Rashid Naseer and NUST TTO team. Multiple avenues of commercializing NUST research were discussed along with a roadmap of licensed technology.

Prof Dr Aqib Pervaiz, along with their team of students developed test kits and successfully demonstrated all features of technology. The industry praised the high level of work performed in developing the POC and demo prototype. WideZone International and NUST teams discussed various other potential technologies of mutual interest and made a resolve to engage further for joint commercialization.
