NUST PNEC Students Secures First Place at 38th IEEEP Symposium with Innovative IoT Energy Management System

At the 38th IEEEP Multi-topic International Symposium, held at Karachi’s Hotel Pearl Continental on May 9, 2024, #NUST PNEC students Mahnoor Mehmood, Muhammad Zubair Irshad, Muhammad Shayan Bin Wajid, and Hammad Waseem secured first place in the Gold Category with their project “IoT-based Energy Management System for Optimal Consumption in Residential Facilities” out of 40 other teams competing from across Pakistan. Under the guidance of Dr Syed Sajjad Haider Zaidi, Director Quality Assurance, NUST, their success marks the eighth win for PNEC since 2014, affirming its reputation for excellence in innovation.
