NUST signs a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Samane Shifa Foundation (SSF)

NUST has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Samane Shifa Foundation (SSF) to transform Pakistan’s medical device industry. Dr Shahid Noor, Chairman SSF, and Dr Rizwan Riaz, Pro-Rector (RIC) NUST, signed the agreement.

This partnership will foster an ecosystem for locally producing affordable, high-quality medical devices. The collaboration will focus on R&D, technology transfer, and reverse engineering projects. NUST and SSF aim to drive innovation, reduce dependency on imports, and enhance Pakistan’s healthcare sector.

The delegation visited NSTP, SINES, and N-Ovative Health Technologies (NHTPL), where the Chairman SSF praised NUST’s role in promoting quality education and industrial relationships.
