Advancing Green Technologies to Address Pakistan’s Air Quality Crisis
NUST, in collaboration with 3Pol and the Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination, hosted a high-level roundtable on advancing green technologies to address Pakistan’s air quality crisis.
The session was graced by Ms. Aisha Humera Chaudhry, Secretary MoCC&EC, and brought together experts from academia, government and civil society to discuss key challenges in measuring and managing air quality in Pakistan.
The discussion emphasized the urgent need for cross-sectoral collaboration and the establishment of baseline data to design and implement effective, context-specific solutions. The critical role of academia in driving innovation and evidence-based policy was strongly highlighted.
