SCME Team wins 1st Prize in National Paper Writing Contest by IEP
We are delighted to announce that Mr Abdullah Ahmed, alumnus of NUST School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME), and Dr
Salman Raza Naqvi, Assistant Professor & UG Coordinator at NUST SCME, have won the first prize in the Paper Writing Contest arranged by the Institution of Engineers Pakistan.
The winning team was awarded a shield and prize money at a ceremony held in Lahore on April 01, 2021. The paper bagged the top position across the country in the Chemical Engineering category. The paper was titled ‘Gasification of Industrial Sewage Sludge using Bubbling Fluidised Bed Gasifier for Syngas Production.’
