Office of Presidency of the Republic of Turkey organised an exclusive Career fair in Lahore

Office of Presidency of the Republic of Turkey organised an exclusive ‘Career fair – TalentforBIZ’ in Lahore, Pearl Continental Hotel, on February 21, 2020. The aim of the event was to connect young and promising talent with global Turkish companies, which seek creative minds for their operations.

The Office of Presidency of Republic of Turkey extended a special invitation to NUST to participate in this event, and about 100 students & graduates from multiple disciplines participated in the fair. Top Turkish companies participated in the fair, including Albayrak Holding, Arçelik, Hayat Kimya, Sa-Ra Group, Teknopark Istanbul, Turkcell, to name a few. The event included on-spot interviews, employer sessions, and employer presentations. The event was corroboration for the proactive efforts of the governments of Pakistan and Turkey, to draw upon corresponding strengths for mutual growth and development. With regards to its collaboration with Turkey, NUST also recently signed an MoU with Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI), at a ceremony held at the Prime Minister’s House on February 14, 2020, which was graced by the presence of H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Turkey, and H.E. Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan.
