Hi-tech Innovation Ecosystem

The Quadruple Helix Model of Innovation, where academia, Industry, government and society work together for development, is well demonstrated through the university’s close interaction collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders for institutional and national development. A complete ecosystem of innovation and commercialisation exists at NUST from which students and faculty benefit and contribute to the knowledge economy, thus enhancing the national innovation index. To its credit, NUST has several trailblazing undertakings for the promotion of innovation-led national growth, viz. the National Science & Technology Park (NSTP), National Centre of Robotics & Automation, Tech-ONE (incubation centre) to name a few. NSTP is NUST’s innovation arm that provides necessary impetus to the growth of Hi-Tech start-ups and SMEs in Pakistan.
