Dr Mohsin Kamal of SEECS has been awarded a prestigious research grant under the NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme.

The project, titled “Secure Integrated Sensing and Communications (Secure ISAC),” brings together leading researchers from Pakistan, Türkiye and beyond to develop secure, AI-driven communication systems for 6G networks, smart cities, and defense applications.

Dr Kamal will serve as Co-Director, representing NUST and Pakistan alongside Prof Dr Hüseyin Arslan (Istanbul Medipol University, Türkiye) and Prof Dr Muhammad Tariq (NUCES-FAST).

His leadership in IoT and cyber-physical security reflects NUST’s growing impact in global scientific collaboration and innovation.
