Kartarpur is a town located in the Narowal district of Punjab, Pakistan. It is famous for the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib, a Sikh shrine that is of great historical and religious significance to the Sikh community. The gurdwara was built on the site where the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak, spent the last 18 years of his life. In November 2019, the Kartarpur Corridor was opened, which allows Indian Sikh pilgrims to visit the gurdwara without a visa. The corridor is a symbol of peace and cooperation between Pakistan and India and is a popular destination for Sikh pilgrims from around the world.
