S3H student selected for Clinton Global Initiative University 2021
Congratulations to Muhammad Adnan, a student of MS Mass Communication at NUST School of Social Sciences & Humanities S3H, who has been selected to join 2021’s cohort of Clinton Global Initiative University CGIU, a network that facilitates students from around the world to discuss global issues, develop practical skills, identify potential partners, and formulate concrete plans of action. Through year-round commitment development and networking opportunities, CGI U builds awareness and generates support for the work of students, youth organisations, and the ever-growing CGI U community around the world.
Adnan will be working on a project related to digital harassment and digital literacy which will be funded by the organisation, depending on the requirements. Since 2007, more than 7,000 commitments have been made and $4M in funding has been awarded to commitment-makers through CGI U. The fellowship is one-year long and has four modules comprising of social impact curriculum.
