Agreement signed with NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology



We are proud to announce our partnership with NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology Multan for long-term, sustainable, and mutually beneficial collaboration in the areas of bilateral interest, for promoting research, industrial linkages, and training. 
 
On January 17, Pro-Rector NUST Research, Innovation & Commercialisation (RIC) Dr Rizwan Riaz and Vice-Chancellor National Fertilizer Corporation (NFC) Institute of Engineering and Technology Multan, Engr Prof Dr Malik Akhtar Ali Kalrou signed the Memorandum of Agreement in a ceremony held at NUST. Both sides have agreed to work on joint research projects that would help to resolve the key issues of industry and improve industrial efficiency.
 
Speaking at the occasion, Dr Kalrou stressed the significance of strong industry-academia linkages in providing employment opportunities as well as contributing to a country’s progress by developing solutions for industrial problems through academia. He appreciated NUST’s efforts in creating and maintaining a strong connection with the industry.
 
Dr Riaz praised NFC IET’s vision of achieving academic excellence with a self-sustainable model. He apprised Dr Kalrou and his team of NUST’s efforts in preparing its graduates as the premium choice for employers. He further stated that NUST also puts great emphasis on the capacity building of faculty through faculty exchange programmes and joint research projects. He assured of NUST’s dedicated cooperation and support in all endeavours the institutes jointly embark on.
 
Also present at the ceremony were the Manager of Industry Linkages NFC IET Multan Mr Mujtaba Ashraf, the Director of National Science & Technology Park Dr Salman Raza Naqvi, and General Manager NUST Placement Office Ms Arooba Gillani and her team.
