Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan, H.E. Paulo Neves Pocinho, visits NUST

Thee Ambassador of Portugal to Pakistan, H.E. Paulo Neves Pocinho, also visited NUST on June 06, 2021. He was welcomed by Engr Javed Mahmood Bukhari, Rector NUST, and senior management of the university. Followed by a briefing on NUST, the Ambassador was conducted to National Science & Technology Park (NSTP), Pakistan’s first science and technology park, and N-ovative Health Technologies (NHT), the country’s first facility for indigenous production of heart stents and other life-supporting medical devices. The Ambassador also met some of NUST’s faculty and researchers and expressed strong interest in developing academic and research ties between the NUST and leading Portuguese higher education institutions.
