Khuzdar Block inaugurated at NUST Balochistan Campus
The Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Mr. Agha Hasan Baloch, inaugurated the Khuzdar Block at the NUST Balochistan Campus (NBC) of the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.
Lt Gen (Retd) Engr Javed Mahmood Bukhari, Rector NUST, along with NUST senior management, and Campus Director NBC Prof Dr Wasim Khaliq were also present at the occasion. With the addition of Khuzdar Block at NBC, NUST has become the first university in Balochistan to offer a program in Artificial Intelligence (AI), and related computing technologies that stand at the forefront of the 4th industrial revolution.
The program is specially designed for the youth of Balochistan, particularly students from Khuzdar and other far-flung regions of the province. The initiative will go a long way in enabling students to embrace the latest trends in AI, and hence contribute their fair share to the development of Balochistan.
