NUST Alumni ranked second in Federated Tumor Segmentation Challenge 2021
Alumni from NUST Suleiman Ali Khan and Muhammad Irfan Khan based at Artificial Intelligence Centres, Finland ranked second in Global Artificial Intelligence Competition Federated Tumor Segmentation Challenge 2021.
A total of 125 teams from all over the world participated in this global competition. And more than 55 organisations came together to find a solution to this challenge. This global competition was organised by research centres of different countries including USA, Germany, Hungary, India, Switzerland. The winners of the challenge were announced at the MICCAI conference in Strasbourg, France. The session was chaired by the AI Director of Dana-Farber cancer institute of Harvard University.
