NUST Balochistan Campus Civil Engineering Students Claim Top Positions at 6th Engineering Capstone Expo 2024
NUSTians from the Civil Engineering Department at NUST Balochistan Campus (NBC) have made the entire #NUSTFamily extremely proud as they have secured 1st and 3rd positions in the category of civil engineering in the 6th Engineering Capstone Expo 2024. The event recorded participation and exhibition of 79 projects from across Balochistan.
The project developed by NUSTians Mr M Yaseen, Mr Awais, Raza, and Mr Hakeem Ullah of BE Civil Engineering clinched the 1st position in the category of ‘Civil Engineering’ for their project titled “Seismic Retrofitting Through Externally Attached Sub-Structure to Improve Structural Resilience”. The team was supervised by Dr Momin Shahzad.
In another win at the expo, the project of NUSTians Mr Waseem Abbas, Mr Azhan Ghani, Ms Bibi Zubaida, and Mr M. Abdullah secured the 3rd position in the category of ‘Civil Engineering’ for their project on “Laboratory Evaluation on Incompatibility of Waste Polymers-Modified Bitumen “. The team was supervised by Dr Adham Alnadish.
