NUST becomes first university of Pakistan to host an International Pitching event
History has been made as for the first time ever a Pakistani university has hosted the First International Pitching event overseas.
The international edition of our flagship program FICS NUST – Finding Innovative and Creative Solutions was organised on April 13, 2023, in Türkiye in partnership with Gazi Üniversitesi at their campus in Ankara.
A total of 20 teams from leading universities from all over Türkiye participated in the event, pitching their innovative ideas to a panel of 12 esteemed judges and industry experts.
After the rigorous evaluation of the projects, Ege Üniversitesi secured the first position followed by Gazi University as the second. Both Universities will be traveling to Pakistan for the grand finale scheduled to be held in June 2023 at the NUST Islamabad campus.
Among other top 5 universities were Başkent Üniversitesi Selçuk Üniversitesi & TOBB Ekonomi ve Teknoloji Üniversitesi.
