NUST Career Connect 2022-23 hosts 100 companies from various sectors

NUST Placement Office organized a 2-day event: NUST Career Connect, in the federal metropolis on December 21st and 22nd, 2022, to provide a rendezvous point for students to present themselves to their prospective employers and enable the latter to address their human resource needs.

Pro Rector RIC Dr. Rizwan Riaz, who was the Chief Guest of the Islamabad chapter of the NUST Career Connect, inaugurated the event along with General Manager Placements – Ms. Arooba Gillani. More than 100 firms from Banking, Construction, Development, Education, Health Care, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Telecom, Textile, IT, FMCG, and other sectors, showed up on the Career Connect, to recruit students from the disciplines of Engineering, Biosciences, Architecture, Business, Accounting & Finance, Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Humanities Some of the top organizations present at the fair included Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd, Defense Housing Authority, TPL Corp, S&P Global, Atlas Honda Group, Atlas Car Manufacturing, Ghulam Faruque Group, HUM Network Limited, FF Steel, Zong, Cheetay Logistics, Teach For Pakistan, LMKR, Confiz, Contour Solutions, Kohinoor Textile Mills, Agency 21, CCBPL, Netsol Technologies, CureMD, to name a few.

All the firms present at the event extolled NUST for presenting its dynamic student pool to the job market and appreciated the students for turning out in large numbers.

The students acknowledged the efforts made by NUST Placement Office to invite a large pool of Pakistan’s top recruiters to NUST and provide them the opportunity of securing job and internship opportunities in organizations of their interest.

Around 1900 students from NUST constituent Schools and Colleges located in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Risalpur availed the opportunity.
